Lauren and I's story is a little special... after all how does a boy from portugal end up marrying a girl from Arlington, Texas.
I came to the great state of Texas to study, Lauren was following in the footsteps of her mom and had traded her longhorn dreams for horned frog ones.
One of my favorite things about our relationship is that Lauren and I share a lot of things in common - one of those being photography. We both grew up loving photography and creating any opportunity to carry a camera with us. What we valued the most about photography was that it always brought us back to a really beautiful moment in time, whether it was in our relationship or a moment we had shared with family and friends. This passion for photography would spur the big idea of Lion Heart, in how we would service our clients. Our photography is very raw. Moments can't be created, they have to come naturally. We watch and wait for the moment and we snap it. We like to be the fly on the wall. Partaking in all the great and amazing moments of each our clients lives. Photography has captured and given us the best moments of our lives and we want to be able to give that to others. We love our story and we would love to be part of yours.
The idea for Lion Heart was birthed from simply wanting to capture the beauty of our friends and family. Our goal was to tell their story, who they were, how we saw them. We found them in the moment that described them best, capturing the joy in the day to day: a bride with her groom, a parent with his child. Being invited into the lives of our clients is a gift. We love them, we love telling their story. Let us tell yours.
